World of Warcraft Item Upgrades
The upgrade of your items is a crucial part of equipping your character. Upgrades increase the base damage and enhancements of items.
They also offer bonus effects and enhancements. The Blacksmith is able to sell them to you.
Players can recycle any item by pressing the upgrade button on it. Each recycled item adds a level to the upgrade gauge.
Weapons
If a weapon is upgraded, it will gain an initial damage bonus as well as a scaling factor which affects other stats. The weapon could also gain a number of upgrade components that offer additional features or effects as well as distinct cosmetic effects. These upgrades can be added to armors, weapons, trinkets and gathering tools. The majority of them require that the item is equipped with an upgrade slot and that it meets certain requirements. Once a weapon or armor piece is equipped with an upgrade component it, the item can be upgraded with a different one, but the previous upgrade will be destroyed (except for legendary equipment and upgrades). Upgrade components can be recovered through the Black Lion Salvage Kit Ascended Salvage tool, or a higher-tier salvaging tool on an item.
A weapon can also be upgraded to include a Calibration attribute that increases certain stats, for example Weakspot damage or Crit Rate. This is accomplished through the Gear Workbench interaction menu. This can be done four times depending on the weapon's level.
Once the weapon has reached its maximum level of upgrade, it can then be reforged to add different effects and bonuses or to boost specific stats. Many of these upgrades can be re-applied at once, and their effects are based on the rarity of the weapon.
Two Blacksmiths are able to perform these upgrades in the game: Blacksmith Iji on the Road to the Manor Site of Grace and Smithing Master Hewg at the Church of Elleh hub. Both require different upgrade materials: Smithing Stones for standard weapons, and Somber Smithing Stones for modifying the damage that a weapon inflicts.
In general, it's best to upgrade your weapon damage first. Then, you can upgrade your armor defense, and then those secondary stats that are required by your build. It is not unusual to see melee Druids upgrade their weapon before upgrading any other equipment. This helps maximize DPS. This is especially true for enchantments, which can be extremely efficient in increasing a weapon's damage and other stats.
Armor
Item Upgrades let players enhance the effectiveness of certain armors, weapons trinkets, trinkets, or gathering tools. They can also provide additional effects such as increased damage or cosmetic enhancements. Item upgrades are available through crafting, buying from NPC vendors and loot drop, or as quest rewards.
The armor can be upgraded by visiting the Armorer NPC, and spending the appropriate currency. Most armor upgrades to the next level after an upgrade. This can be done for all types of armor, however certain types of armor cannot be upgraded at all (such as the starter armor in Great Sky Island).
Most armor upgrades provide some improvement to an item's base defense or strength. Some upgrade components, however, could result in significant improvements in strength or defense. This is especially true when upgrading epic items.
In addition to increasing the base defense of an item, a few upgrades also offer special abilities that can be activated when wearing an armor. These abilities can be useful in combat, such as granting a buff to attack speed or blocking. Certain upgrades can have effect that are passive and can be useful for example, reducing damage while wearing armor or increasing the chance to dodge an attack.
Based on item upgrader of armor being used, upgrading an item may require multiple tries. For instance the case of a player wanting to upgrade a Steelclash armor to Dragonscale, the first attempt would result in a new piece of Dragonscale with the base defense of the ages of 59-67. The second attempt will result in the creation of a Dragonscale armor that has a base defense of between 67 and 77.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild allows players to upgrade their armor sets to level 4. To upgrade their armor players must visit the four Great Fairy Fountains that are located in the game. Each location has a fair with a great power that can improve a piece of armor for you.

Contrary to popular belief armor in The Division 2 is not useless. Some armors offer a significant boost in the reduction of the damage caused by poison, curse, magic, or fire. This makes them useful for certain types of builds. There are other ways to boost the stats of armor besides upgrading the armor, for instance using the engineer trait to increase armor penetrating or the challenger to reduce the weight of the entire armor.
Potion
A potion can be upgraded by putting it in the brewing stand to unlock new effects. The upgrade opens a new level of potion effects, and can be repeated for more tiers of potency.
The potions also have the ability to select a custom color that can be set by the player using /give. The color affects the area-of-effect clouds as well as the arrows that are generated. In Bedrock Edition the custom potion color is also applied to the particle effects of the potions.
The water bottle, the mundane thick and awkward potions now have a brand new texture of brewing. The potion of weakness was added to the potion of healing in Creative inventory. There are lingering potions available that can be made with splash potions or dragon breath and a thick pot with the status effect Mining Fatigue (duration 4:00). Problems related to this update are maintained on the Bug Tracker.
Trinket
A trinket could be an inexpensive, small ornament or piece of jewelry. It could be a ring or necklace. Or even a small banner used to mark the yard of a boat. It could also refer to an gilded trinket attached to the mast of a boat.
This macabre trinket is believed to be influencing the inhabitants of this maze and making them more popular. At present it makes all types of mimic Xx more popular and gives each floor the chance to contain an ebony-colored mimic. Upgrades to this trinket will cost a moderate amount energy.
The magic of the enchanted Scepter appears to influence the dungeon by increasing the probability of producing water and grass. This trinket at the current level, will cause X% of the regular floors to be filled with grass or water. It will not affect glyphs, enchantments or cursed weapons or armor or items that are produced to aid in the elimination of the dangers in rooms.
This item, which appears like a newt's eyes, seems to affect your vision in a manner that goes beyond merely reducing your field-of-view. This trinket, in its current level, increases the health benefits gained from drinking healing potion and wells of life by X%, and also gives mind sight to enemies within the Y tile. This trinket does not stack with the Heightened Senses.
After you have completed the Mastery Cave After completing the Mastery Cave, you will be able to find Trinkets by defeating Monsters and inside crates and chests in Skull Cavern. They can't be found in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.
If you have a trinket that requires upgrading, place it in the Anvil to do so. This will have an effect on the trinket that will either enhance or intensify its effects. You can reuse the Trinket as often as you like but it will always have a new effect.
You can upgrade your Trinkets in the Alchemy Station by placing them into the Magical Catalyst. It will cost you 6 energy, but will increase the trinkets power by a tiny amount.
